I made a visit to Mood last week on my day off and it was brilliant - not done yet (so I didn't take pictures) but much easier to get to (off the 101 in Hollywood and then South on Vine, take a right on 3rd, and a left on La Brea and Mood is on your right. It was much larger and had about 30 percent more fabric and notions. I loved it. I bought these fabrics:
Very unlike me - I wanted to splurge on some wools and knits. But I didn't. I was fiscally efficient (sadly). But, what a wonderful location and fabulous store - more to follow.
Over Christmas I made many more washcloths below (the patterns are Here, waffle knit dishcloth and Here):
Apparently, knitting equals dog toys!

Yay for you, and I had to laugh at your directions to Mood. If you watch Saturday Night Live, they have a skit called The Californians that looks like a soap opera, but the characters give really detailed descriptions of which highways they took to get somewhere. Must really be a California thing!
So true!! Jonathan and I love that skit the Californians (and we're like Whoa! You're taking the 405 (making faces))...It really is in LA for certain!

I love it! I'll take some pix and do a post when I'm there next (and everything is finished). I have to come down this week as soon as possible to buy some replacement fabric where I messed up a waistband. But brilliant new location!
